About the Church of St Margaret, Stanfield
The Church is located on the corner of Back Lane and Church Lane on the outskirts of the village.
The earliest surviving fabric dates back to the 13th century and has undergone several alterations and restorations over the centuries that have followed.
The altar rail is Jacobean and the pulpit which is also Jacobean, was altered to become part of a two deck arrangement in the 18th century.
